Well I agree wind wasnt great at the freshers.... But in no way did it deserve 4th rank.....

I agree their thing was coming out well.....the play was"ruined" cz of tech probs.....hard luck ppl...
but the faculty sympathises with them even though at the same thing last year it did not....

As skin said Vande mataram after the play didn't make sense....but they put it and the judges...LOVE it....unrelated man!!!!
I think this is what NavJ likes..... anyway that fool can't think anything correct....talk about indivisible atoms in this age(in a tech institute). seems that smoking can lead to brain cancer as well...or atleast partial impairment of the brain

The performance was so sucky that the word is insufficient to describe how much it sucked.....

Air....no comments. I think Shat doesn't like the freaking name itself...probably his indigestion (by eating at all the messes he so fondly takes care of) reminds him of "air". c'mon man that is "fart"!
I think what they do is that when they hear the name "air" they just hide their faces.....and decide without caring to look, that it must be the worst

Following the hard work from the past few days and the decent show from the "air" freshers, 4th result was not at all a toast to our efforts. At times it seems that Navj and Shat are partial to the limits of sky. Considering that today we were celebrating birthdays of two members of the 2nd year "air", it was frustrating for them to receive such great birthay gifts from our judges. Inspite of this disappointment, happy birthday to both of them.
If you still expect the world to show fairness, welcome to the "real" world. I don't know that if we even had a Michael Jackson in Air, would that had been enough for us to come atleast a third. When we talked to Mit for him being a judge, he told us that try for some other young prof as a judge as it would be a better change. But when we thought of it, we couldn't hardly find a single judge of this category who could be a new face(except kanal, who of course is more logical than these fellows as he thinks everything in terms of logic using mathematics as his language). Profs are completely aloof of the institute's cultural activities. Even 2 days before Felicity '09, Nimboo didn't know when our fest was going to take place. Despite being in the college for so many years, the "sadist" camel didn't know that there were any Felicity co-ordinators. There are other such instances of such instances in my mind, but it's no use talking of things whch won't change the situation over here. If you people didn't know that our institute boasts of such faculty then now it is the time to know. But then what will you do knowing such facts. It won't change the atmosphere of these "human values" influenced professors.
Following this disappointment, comes another hectic week full of tests and assignment deadlines. Best of luck to all.
Oh I forgot (sadly but destined I am) "AIR ROCKS".
No matter air didn't blow this time as well bt this day changed a lot of things...a major change being LOOK AT WHO IS SAYING ALL THIS...

me:Apart from the judges sitting there ,there exists ONE supreme JUDGE who has been looking at your hardwork .The judges present in the college are humans ,and perhaps they made some mistake...A day will come when the Supreme JUDGE will bestow on you a superDuper victory...

ReplyDeletethanks for recognising my hard work. But I felt bad for our collective hard work.
Firstly the freshers worked hard.
In the skit, Niks, Kogta sir and Shantanu sir worked hard.
In the windows part massand, navni, bv(though for 1-2 days) worked hard.
In the dance, yadav, abhinav sir and others worked hard.
And finally Sir Jain worked hard to get the props and all.
This was just an appreciation to all ur hard work.
Sky is the limit... for ur information, the last part of "Vande Mataram" was fully relevant to the play.. its not out fault that there was a tech fault and u did'nt get the play... Justified that Air did'nt deserve to come last, but that dosent mean 'sky' did'nt deserve to come first!!! btw all of us knew who the judges would be. It was just 'street smart' on our part to include something 'patriotic'....

after play sky performed 2 misc acts n den dance in punjabi song...after dat vande mataram in telugu was performed.....so i think it makes sense...as it was not the part of skit....

ReplyDeletebro, totally agree with u everybdy workd real hard esp the freshers. Consider their hard work enthu and the nice performance they gave we did not deserve 4th man, no way. But if you look around everybdy does say that air deserved 2nd. But I dont thk we will be hearing air rocks this time becoz everybdy felt we were not supposed 2 be 4th.
P.S. Rest of the houses r still fighting over who should have been 1st.

@all : Please use "Gagan" in place of "Sky" ...
i guess at the end of the day, all that matters is that everyone gave their best, the performances by ALL houses were great and the entire night was a blast..
