I agree their thing was coming out well.....the play was"ruined" cz of tech probs.....hard luck ppl...
but the faculty sympathises with them even though at the same thing last year it did not....

As skin said Vande mataram after the play didn't make sense....but they put it and the judges...LOVE it....unrelated man!!!!
I think this is what NavJ likes..... anyway that fool can't think anything correct....talk about indivisible atoms in this age(in a tech institute). seems that smoking can lead to brain cancer as well...or atleast partial impairment of the brain

The performance was so sucky that the word is insufficient to describe how much it sucked.....

Following the hard work from the past few days and the decent show from the "air" freshers, 4th result was not at all a toast to our efforts. At times it seems that Navj and Shat are partial to the limits of sky. Considering that today we were celebrating birthdays of two members of the 2nd year "air", it was frustrating for them to receive such great birthay gifts from our judges. Inspite of this disappointment, happy birthday to both of them.
If you still expect the world to show fairness, welcome to the "real" world. I don't know that if we even had a Michael Jackson in Air, would that had been enough for us to come atleast a third. When we talked to Mit for him being a judge, he told us that try for some other young prof as a judge as it would be a better change. But when we thought of it, we couldn't hardly find a single judge of this category who could be a new face(except kanal, who of course is more logical than these fellows as he thinks everything in terms of logic using mathematics as his language). Profs are completely aloof of the institute's cultural activities. Even 2 days before Felicity '09, Nimboo didn't know when our fest was going to take place. Despite being in the college for so many years, the "sadist" camel didn't know that there were any Felicity co-ordinators. There are other such instances of such instances in my mind, but it's no use talking of things whch won't change the situation over here. If you people didn't know that our institute boasts of such faculty then now it is the time to know. But then what will you do knowing such facts. It won't change the atmosphere of these "human values" influenced professors.
Following this disappointment, comes another hectic week full of tests and assignment deadlines. Best of luck to all.
Oh I forgot (sadly but destined I am) "AIR ROCKS".

the finger day and more...

well now that naruto is getting in our group there was a suggestion that 'katsu' be made the official greeting...great step
this is a collection of many great days....
the day when the song went on... i left my cell phone's music player on in the class (it was camel's) and suddenly after an hour of playing rock, when the power went off, the encompassing silence made the music audible. well thankfully, the class was sleepy enough not to notice this.
the day people though would never come--
Well it came... I finally gave my birthday treat which was due for 9 months....(no pun)
skin and monkey (being the @#!$$ they are) went hungry all day to wait for dinner(which was my treat)
the day of piegeon's tummy.... krust treated us for his birthday and although I did not hog as much as yeti did ,my stomach was bursting an I found it difficult to walk(I skipped breakfast and lunch the next day) I realised one thing --- It must be tough for pigeon to actually exist with such a big tummy
the semantics day....
camel used this word so much in class.. he answered all questions by saying, "it is the semantics which matters". By the end of the class I was so used to hearing it(and he so used to using this "standard" answer), that I am sure that when asked "whats your name?" he would've said "semantics"

NavJ today went berserk. He claimed absurdities unimaginable by any human mind in the modern era.... nuclear reactions being performed by alchemists.....atoms being indivisible.....and now for all the bullshit you can come up with.............

what did I learn? NavJ has a bright career for treating insomnia.....man he can put you to sleep!!
Though there is one quality I admire about him....no one else can bull shit with so much dedication,seriousness and enthusiasm.......

ahem.. coming to the topic
well this happened in my skit practice when one dude accidentally told a girl (who was to proposed to a dude) to show the dude "the finger"...
He said this and went quiet for a while. At this point me and skin burst out laughing.... it was hilarious!!! the sad part being it was only the both of us who heard this.... sad people have become in the skit practice
In general life is a mess here.... the workload is enormous, some people disgusting, the politics repelling.... I could go on... but there's no point ;)
As I write this, I am sure that today morning Hari (with the screwed up piece of metal aka his watch) is going to bore me in his lecture. He actually tells people to get out of his class if they are found sleeping...get a life man!!! don't you understand it is your fault people will prefer suicide to your class (probably this is all the frustration from NavJ's class....)

The Bull Shit Day

Hey everyone.. skin here

Today was onr the crappiest days. Continuous 1.5 hour classes from 8:30 to 1:00 had numbed my mind to the extent that i started to like yucktahaar food...lol. Furthermore each class had its own challenges. SnS was boring as usual wid d "bihari babu" explaining how "Wizards" can predict the future. ES 2 stands more for "everything sucks" rather than "electrical science". The snake is no less than svg as far as the characteristic south indian accent goes. And on top of it, he kept a strict watch on me. He caught me dozing off 3 times and hence i was hardly able to finish my sleepin quota. At the end of the class, and after much speculation wid all d ppl, we decided to attend "Crapability". "PRanKy Pao" was his usual self, numbing our mind with the most boring borel sigma fields. But the monotonous session was ended by Dlal with one of his greatest questions yet (even aftr one year, they still keep coming). As Pranky criticised "statistics" as being nothing but Bullshit, Lal put forward his misery "Sir, what is the meaning of bull shitting??" and the whole class broke into laughter with tears of joy flowing frm everyone's eyes. Pranky: "U don't know the meaning of bullshit? Are u bull shitting me?? lol Ask one of ur close frnds..." and dlal was left dumbfounded...as usual. And so came a happy and joyful end to this bullshitty day...

yahoo!!!....i get to write d first post...nyways now something more related to d topic..2day was d lucky charm day...though kk brought good luck to many other ppl 2day all he could do for me was to get me something to eat :P..bro use ur lucky charm to give me something better next time around!!!...nyways gotto go now..c ya soon folks!!!

the killer sem has started. now this sem was supposed to be tough for the ec ppl.... by the way things are it seems cs people are screwed!
weird and frequent assignments , profs who teach even when people glare at them (humanitites...), uninteresting lectures which test the limits of tolerance and drive kids to insanity, you name your worst nightmare in college and you still have left uncountably infinite things out of the killer sem!
The sem has it all....
Well coming the the topic (couldn't help but say something for the first post)
Hari had the first lect today at 8... his watch is a twisted piece of metal in which he moves the hands and hence controls time.
Krust, I and Kramer entered class and immediately after that Hari catches holds of the other kids who were entering and marked them absent. Rabbi reckons that Hari got scared of KK's huge figure..... whatever the reason we both agree that KK saved us then.
The same thing happened in the next lecture by camel.... people were locked out for coming late.Krust saved our asses.
Krust also got me and yeti just in time to grab the last puffs at the "Palash Nivas" shop at 5.30.....
Krust saved the day :)
Krust also solved Turing machines problem.... So wat else can a friend ask man??
Apart from this life is hell....

Amazing to find people appreciating my skills of doing things that actually i am not doing. Anyways I appreciate all of your efforts to mention my charm that is working on professors and on the samosa person. Regarding yeti's message to do something better, I strongly fell that perhaps I could have used my presence today to convince Camel to reduce our workload or atleast act as a mirror to all the torture and burden he has imposed on us. That would have been the perfect icing on thecake for me. Anyways sorry friends for not being able to help you in this matter ( or, our CR should try to do something :P).
Anyways ending on the word that I would definitely try to influence my lucky charm effect on other people by doing something more meaningful. And of course thank you all for appreciating me and hopefully i can forward this enthusiasm of writing blogs to the humanities blog.
