Jab Pyar Kiya toh Darna Kya...The Prequel!!!

yeti :

hey guys...yeti's back finally...quite a long gap between the first and the second blog of mine...but my antics have pretty much been a part of the blogs...so i hope you havent missed me a lot!!!...been an interesting day today...dough it started of wid the usual boring classes...prabby's was the first class today...started with the same scenario - him bringin d same "coffee break" mug...but surprise surprise (mind u a very unpleasnt one for me!!!) today he had some sips from it also...this might have happened before but i was awake only today to notice it...dis made it even more difficult to concentrate in class...gawd that ***...i m not sure if i m allowed to use slangs here...so i might as well refrain from it at the moment...nyways wer was i???yeah d sips...wat with all dos thoughts about havin coffee...its aroma n d taste...d best one i ever had...one thought to another...losing awareness exponentially(now generally i dont use such geeky terms...just consider it d "datte" influence on me)...n finally SNOOOOOZZZZEEEEEE!!!!!...n suddenly all conciousness returning...i woke with a start only to know dat ders a significant amount of time left of enduring prabby's torture for the day...n it was just datte's chattering which messed up my sleep...ofcourse as usual he was asking a doubt or probably just wondering out loud about what was being taught...i have no problem with him being all
ears to the professor's word...i dunno care even about his "ogling" the professor but for gawd sake all i am askin of u is to keep dat (hardly visible above d beard!!) mouth of urs shut (heres to all the ppl who have been rasing doubts abt my leg pulling abilities!!!)...cant you atleast do that for me the next time around???...nyways rest of the class was pretty 'without any interesting incident' atleast for me...i heard later that some people got sent out but i was drowsy enough not to notice...fast forwarding now to camel's class...well after bunking the last class, everything seemed pretty lame...but this time around i ensured that i am not anywhere close to datte and was able to spend the entire class resting in a relatively much quiter environment...then there was an unforeseen visit to the hospital...ppl from our gang(well just bunch o geeks, ofcourse excluding me) seem to be havin an affair wid the hospital's dis semester...probably by the end of it..everyone will end up der atleast once...on second thoughts, seeing the way this semester is progressing(or shud i say p"o"gressing),i wont be surprised actually if our whole batch ends up there 'sooner or later'(wat coincidence d same
song playing in my ears..Breaking Benjamin rocks)!!!...well now rest of the day has been written about already by datte so i wont bug u more with my version...n i dont want to go through it once more...for obvious reasons ofcourse!!!...so its sayonara from me for now....hope the next blog of mine doesnt turn up after so long an interval...bas ab yeh aakhri alvida for today..bye!!! :)

Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya

datte :
Today was hilarious!!!
Well after a VERY long time all of us were having a gala time at yuckies (thats the name for for our mess btw, and no, we've made minor changes to the name, the mess people are humble enough to admit that the food does indeed live upto the name - "yuckies"). There was the balushai......(I was half expecting the yogi to turn up and say that its spoilt so that people would leave it and this dude could sell it off! Nice try man, but we are used to all the yuck ,spoilt food included)
I being the kind-hearted person I am, gave away my balushai to krust (who LOVES sweets) and Yeti (who loves jalebi but I dont know.....this dude can eat ANYTHING on earth and smile after it, a genuine smile mind you).
So as time went along I was pulling monkey's leg on his eye injury ( poor dude finds it tough to swing from branch to branch. Infact today I found him staring sadly at a tree, probably he was remembering the so sweet and the not so distant past). As time went by, Yeti joined in. Now monkey was already frustrated and he did not want the "big shot" of leg pulling, Yeti to join in. So he in a threatening way said, "Yeti chup ho jaa varna......" (followed by a glare and some noises which I reckon are a monkeys way of responding to threats in the wild). Yeti's response was unbelievable. He said "Pyaar kiya toh darna kya?".
I was sitting between the both of these and I couldn't believe my ears. By the time Yeti could grasp the entire meaning and implications of his response I was choking with laughter!!
This was followed by all our attention being diverted from Monkey to Yeti.....with all of us singing "pyaar kiya toh darna kya....". Yeti couldn't stop laughing and neither could we. By the end of it he had joined us in singing the song (Seems he liked the song and its "deep" meaning a lot, and is singing it even now......pity my ears)
Well the fact remains that today will go down as a "black spot" in Yeti's career as a leg puller. Sometimes even geniuses make blunders, proving that they are human.

Life here.......there is this new twist in my life called SAD (those are the actual phonetics) which is in all practicality looking at common sense through a microscope
then there is DB in which definitions of all possible things in this world are thrown.....
and maths where the prof utters.....well its censored....cant say such things(certain level of blogging ethics).
Humanities continues to be a sleeping class for majority of the class and now we are evolving to bluetooth chatting in the class, its awesome!!
Lets see how the coming weeks turn out to be!

a "dam"nable weekend

datte :
Well seems like the rest of the bakarians are too disinterested ( skin is spared for this time ).... So it has to be me writing about this weekend.
The first session of hellish exams ended with Algo being all-go (and basically a slow roast over fire, so that we pay for our sins of past lives). And.... Well the point being they were bad and ended!

The result of some ingenious minds was that to cool our heads off we needed a weekend away from this place. bakarians decided to go along ( except skin....sorry man, you missed a lot!) We reached the place in like 4 hours and the ride was fun
The place was a non-Hindi place and we were left saying "naku telugu radu" . In the end it was all down to sign language. It was an ordeal to place an order for the dinner.... and another (bigger) ordeal to eat it. Ofcourse Yeti enjoyed all the chillies in his food and lapped his plate clean. But the rest of the "normal" human beings were left asking for water.
The dam was built well. We could see fish and ducks in the river and it was scenic.
Highlight of the trip were the waterfalls we went to. After bathing there , it felt like heaven ( the place had a soaring mercury and humidity --- a killing combo).
As Krust put it " All's well that ends well ".
Too tired to think of anything more to write.... need to sleep now after the "Golden" sleep I had yesterday night.

a week that went swoosh....

datte :
there is stuff here keeping all of us busy (except for skin....velle EC waale! but he prefers watching naruto, so I wont blame him) and the result being we weren't able to bakar here.
well what a week!....rather what a week?? we had SAD projects going on, quizzes etc

And there was the Sky and Wind party(separately ofcourse)......man it was gud....i didn't stuff as much as I would've on any other day. You need to maintain some level of "decency" being a senior.... Ofcourse the start was frustrating when we were made to wait fr abt 40 mins...guess some things have to happen! Followed by a bus ride and a series of hilarious proposals in the restaurant, ( I was glad to see the sporty juniors! Hats off to their spirit! Its refreshing to see a change of attitude in this place ) and a singing ride back .

Today was Grey Beard's(GB we know him for his scrap of metal....his watch and its timing) class and it turned out to be amusing. GB has his weird examples for science which make "nilch" sense, but he uses them anyway. The boredom energy he emits from his mouth transforms into sleep enrgy when we receive it. Two incidents were the highlight of the class. Yeti, being the vella person he is, was staring blankly and GB came upto him asking him to solve sm crap he had given the class. Here is the conversation
GB : (boredom energy waves) Why are you not solving the bull crap I just wrote?
Yeti :(Get a life man! What would be a good reason to tell this dude?? Aha! I have it! Take this for making me sleepy and not letting me sleep!) My pen has no refill so I cant solve the crap.
GB : (Hmm.... this one is a smart a**!) Take mine.
Yeti : (OMG! This dude needs to chill man! Anyway, I get a pen to sketch) Thanks Sir.
And I was sitting beside Yeti, it was hilarious! Yeti sketched GB (actually I inspired the better for worse sketch, but I dont think Yeti will admit it)
Then come the second one....
GB (to a freshman who was sleeping ) : (emitting intense boredom waves in an effort to make the girl doze off and thus get an oppurtunity to shout at her ( datte : that's his attitude folks!) ) What was I just saying?
Girl : crap crap and more crap
GB : Thats right!!! She listens to me even in her dreams (Tears of joy are seen on his face. Someone actually listens to him!!!!)
LOL! Great effort in this lecture.... I could listen to these things and be happy!
Then there was a mail at 3, that we have a tutorial at 4. At 4 we were told we have a quiz till 5.
Life goes on here......
bakha dattebayo!

Sequence of Events from the past few days

part from krust :
Firstly, I would like to share with you all that today the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has passed away. Though I cannot confirm whether he had passed away yesterday or has passed away today, but I can say that he was found dead today. I stopped listening to canal, after I got the news in the middle of his death( I was actually listening to him before getting the news). The news actually disturbed me due to other reasons.
Now let's come to other issues which might give a break to the gloomy start that I have made.
In the topic that I have chosen for this post, the important word is sequence. I first thought of writing series, but then today I was made to remember by sinner(whose class I finally attended after missing 3 continuous lectures), that series, which was my original choice of word, is sum of numbers in a sequence.
Now I come to the most important issue of this post. In the 1st humming class of the week, I noticed vindhyas finally couldn't give sleep a slip. This, I think is a great piece of news, and everyone who knows him will know why is it so. But inspite of all this I must appreciate his takedown with camel. Regarding the first humming class of this week, I would like to add the fact that I was sitting in the 5th row. But this wasn't enough for me to hide from prof, as almost all the people in the first four rows were sleeping with their heads down. This was actually not unusual considering the workload the profs have been giving us.
Now I come to another piece of news that has actually made me happy. After last week's misfortune that came across yeti, its good to find him fit and I wish that he can go to the cricket field once again.
A goodbye to all those who are reading and best of luck for completing the assignments(since now a days there are so many assignments that there is hardly any time to copy also).
